The things people usually ask before starting a project. Can't see yours — just message me.
GETTING STARTED
How long does a website take to build?
A simple 3-page site usually takes 1–2 weeks. A full business site with a gallery and booking flow is more like 3–5 weeks. I'll give you a specific timeline once I know the scope.
Do I need to know what I want before contacting you?
No. Most people start with a rough idea and we shape the actual scope together during the first chat.
Do you work with businesses outside Wellington?
Yes — most of the work happens over call and message anyway, so location isn't a barrier. Wellington clients are welcome to meet in person too.
PRICING & PAYMENT
How does pricing work?
Every project gets a fixed quote after a short chat about scope — see the pricing page for starting points. No hourly surprises.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, typically 50% up front to begin work, with the balance due at launch. This gets discussed and agreed before anything starts.
WORKING TOGETHER
Can I update the site myself after it's built?
Yes — sites are built so you can edit text, images and basic content yourself. I'll walk you through it, and I'm also available for ongoing edits if you'd rather hand that off.
What if I need changes after the site is live?
Small tweaks after launch are normal and usually quick to sort out. For ongoing changes, a hosting & care plan covers regular edits — see the pricing page for details.
Do you handle hosting and domains too?
Yes — domain setup, hosting and email can all be handled for you, so there's nothing separate to manage or forget to renew.
